Juluis Caesar and Vladimir Lenin both explained that society could be led to any conclusion by a strong leader.
Harv writes:if someone is obviously ill and conforms to the symptoms of a severe mental illness, then society as a whole deems fit to address those issues

And what is the answer to the objections I posed in

Harv wrote:...many mentally ill people would rather reject society, or at least, what society thinks about them."
This is also true of folks who are not mentally ill but don't have Anonymous Harv's stamp of approval.
Why should folks who really think
drop their opinion of themselves in favor of
opinions held by hypnotized units of a shallow consumer culture, or units of a shallow religious dictatorship, or units of a godless state tyranny?
Do you remember Knute Rockne, coach of the Notre Dame football team? I like his statement, though not a scientific finding, because it can always be found to be true IN SOME DEGREE:
"Most people, when they think they are thinking, are merely rearranging their prejudices."
What prevents you from thinking, Harv?
Warm regards,
Mike
