Hi Harv,

I'm glad you don't want to argue -- neither do I. But it's good to be conversing with you again.

I didn't explain myself very well. The only thing I object to is that yourself and others use the term 'disease' to characterize some differences that to me are merely differences.

Now, I am in complete agreement that some of these differences cause unfair hardships to the individual in our society. And, our social institutions and norms should be changed so that these hardships are mitigated.

But I think that in order to classify them as diseases, some physiological abnormality must be demonstrated as in the case of Alzheimers Disease. Until "schizophrenia" or "depression" are clearly understood, I think the classification should wait.
