Perhaps It Is Like Cancer

I have read several times, but cannot remember where, so I cannot vouch for the reliability of this statement, but it has been said that once a person knows they have cancer, it spreads much more quickly.

In other words it seems that the process of denial actually inhibits the growth of cancer. So that if true is some form of mental control of a physical process.

If true then I wuold expect that the denial of mental sickness is healthier than giving in to it.

What about that.
