Yes,
perhaps a fair call about the marketing and screening out the things which are contradicted by science...but sticking specifically to this verse in Job, i just read an artile that said that this verse isnt claiming anything about science or astronomy at all. "The context is about seasonal changes... These two constellations become prominent in the sky in turn as the seasons change from summer to winter and back." It goes on to say that te e verse is teaching us that we cannot hold onto or bind the influences of pleaides(spring/good times/properity) and likewise we can not disperse the bondage of Orion(winter/bad times/adversity). Bearing in mind this was spoken to Job who was having an extremely bad time, do you think this is a fair comment? ie that this verse really isnt some sort of astroligacl prophecy proving the bible is God inspired. This is what i am really trying to find out.

Thoughts?
