Unfortunately couldn't find your post, please add url. If you talk about patterns, then there is a question what kind of patterns they are and from what these patterns form. Absolutely dynamic systems also work based on patterns (regularities), but these are patterns in the topology of the structure - regularities are everything what can be there.

Once I found this article about constructing dimensions, but now I found only this:
http://newton.ex.ac.uk/aip/physnews.539.html
where is said that our three dimensions may also be "constructed". For example if it can be that there are no dimensions (ways to go spatially from one point to another), then there cannot be more than points connected to each other and it must change. Like in absolutely dynamic systems, but to model some process with such system is extremely hard on a simple reason that everything is connected, ie everything may depend on everything somewhere else. And this is the nature of entanglement also, so probably if we even could completely model everything in physics, then this would at least be much more complicated than doing it incompletely with equations.

As it is written there, dimensions come from interactions between particles, so maybe as a result of pilot waves. Pilot wave is like wave because waving is likely somehow very peculiar to nature, but it most likely has many other properties, it may simply be a propagation of an active process.
