i think i'm in league with Paul with respect to your point 3).
it seems that if there is a valid mathematical concept then it exists as part and parcel of the universe.
so from my perspective either infinity is a valid mathematical concept and exists in nature or it is a flawed concept and doesn't exist in nature.
