I agree with Pearson. Your statement that science teaches that you cease to exist, when you die, is erronious based on what you just said. What you said is science thinks your conscious self [the one that interacts with the physical world] ceases to exist when you die. Being a religious person, as you profess to be, you might consider what science has to say about your soul [spiritual self]. Not to much. For good reason.
