Well, I've wrote too much now and I need to get some work done. For now I'll just offer a comment on this:

If you say the world is entirely random, there is nothing to prove to you. Although, if you believe such, then your daily actions should reflect this belief. For example, I generally stay away from the gambling because I'm not a big believer in the random roll of the die as improving my livelyhood

If you give some thought to this issue, you will realize something somewhat obvious: only saints and madmen live according to what they believe. The rest of us choose to compromise. So let's enjoy our right to sin, it's the greatest gift God has given us.
