Predetermination

I agree with Kyle that christians, especially those who are born again and also the Calvinists who believed in predetermination, think that they are pre-ordained to obtain salvation. That is closer to classical than quantum physocs.

But I suspect that the deterministic aspect of christianity is more a result of Paulist codtrine than the teaching of Jesus. The implication of Matthew 7 and Luke 13 is that many who expect the be saved will be disappointed.
