That might get in the way of my ability to remember past lives. I mentioned something to Alan about being a prisoner of our own truths. Our knowledge prevents us from experiencing a lot of things that might be real.

I did have a weird experience once when I was in Japan. I went to this museum where they had an exhibit of medieval life in a small Japanese town. It was quite good, they recreated not only the sights but also the sounds and the atmosphere of a rural village in the 15th century or so. Then for a brief moment I had this strong feeling that all that was very familiar to me. But I don't really know what the feeling means.
