If I'm reading you correctly, you say that the proof of God lies in the mere existance of the Universe out of "nothing". This is an approach taken by many science-minded religious people today. But I just don't get it...We use the term "created out of nothing" because we are three dimensional creatures, but recent mathmatical theories suggest this is an eleven dimensional univers. Anything outside of our three dimensions (and fourth time dimension) is "nothing" to us...we can't experience it. Who's to say that a superior being, and not some extra-dimensional happening, created the universe? I don't have any proof, but I could just as easily say that "the proof of this extra-dimensional happening is simply that we exist". It doesn't cut it...especially when you talk about a God that is involved in our everyday life on this tiny speck of a planet in the universe. Many writers trying to prove God begin with this sort of "philisophical proof", but the proof itself is flawed to a point that all other discussion on the topic doesn't really matter. There needs to by hard evidence to make a case for God (or even the extra-dimensional happening). There needs to be some highly complex design WITHIN the universe that can ONLY be attributed to some incredible external intelligence. comments welcome... -nick
