A good thought, but may I tell u something ?
You forget to consider that this world wasn`t built only by church. There are many beliefs that will tell u how wonderful the universe and the scince is. My belief teaches us about the clouds, the photocyntesys (sorry for the spelling), expanding universe and much much more. Try to look up the Quran. You`ll find the answer.
