How Can We Tell If You Are A Realist? By An Opinion You Hold?

Do you ever inquire about these questions
(is there a built-in purpose or meaning of life, what are good ethics, what are we really, is there an operating manual for Spaceship Earth and if so where is it, and if not, do we need one? what came before us? what can we learn from that? and etc. )
or is your "realist" opinion simply a way to save time by
never considering those subjects
