Although i'm not a big evolution subscriber, any interaction with alien worlds in an objective attempt to observe should maintain, a 0 contamination goal, if we carelessly introduce bacteria or any other form of life to an alien planet, we are no longer able to objectively observe what the original state of the enviroment was with confidence in what we find.
