Don't get me wrong; I thought Stafford
said some interesting and provocative things
at a high level which, even if they are merely a tease, are a decent contribution to the library. His short suit is just something to forgive.
Stafford wrote:

Stafford has no good basis for explaining how
billions of persons think. At least he has cited none. If he is correct, there is still
the need to support his description of other persons better than he has before
calling their adaptation "stupid."
