and since they do have visual sense organs, "bugs" do have a point of view.
1) if you are looking for it, is
that one may question even the human presumption
of purpose and ask the question -- what is the
purpose of humans?
2) If you are assuming that belief in evolution as a source of modern human consciousness or intelligence, do you feel this necessarily means our purpose is degraded?
3) If evolution only is the source of our physical form, and intelligence and consciousness permeates matter eternally due to God's interest, does this present a different situation?
4) If you believe human souls were created differently than all other nature on earth, do you feel the question of "purpose" is satisfactorily discussed?
