Why should I make these decisions? I guess
the main reason is that we all participate
in some degree. But it costs us politically to advocate. If I have a chance to help make those
decisions beyond a vote, it is a different case
than if I am a voting representative of others
in a law-making body. I do feel that majority rule is a potentially dangerous concept that must be limited by higher-level principles --
for majority rule, if unchecked, leads to delusional lazy herd religions as the governing
structure, or by another name, a gang of apes in charge.
