The Torah only dates the earth back to Earths first day which would be a few thousand years ago assuming a literal translation.
Before the Earths first day the Earth exists already as a void planet.
How long was the Earth there before the first day?
A day?
A year?
A trillion years?
This information is not given.

The Torah does not date the universe.
The Torah only dates the time back to the day God gave the earth a surface remodel.

When I read it this the way it seemed to me.
What do you think?
