Alan, it has nothing to do with being worried. It is about forming sound conclusions based on firm evidence such that one can be satisfied with our knowledge. Now, I will believe in certain ontic things if they are necessary for my needs of satisfaction, but believing in all of your pattern mumbo-jumbo is not among those things. So, I raise the bar on those ontic assumptions and reasoning that you do, and for that reason your views look like a religion in a country that hasn't yet been discovered by modern humans.
