By proper forum, I did not mean this forum . I meant it in general terms(all forums). We all think our ideas are important and no matter what medium we are using we should not attack or belittle the PERSON.

If we believe the theory or work to be flawed we can surley point out those flaws respectfully, and in most cases by simply asking questions about the area of work we find questionable.

Persons who run forums such as this have a tough job weeding out disrespectful comments because they appear to be siding with one person or another if they erase a comment.

The best way I believe is for the participants to discipline themselves. If a comment offends one, then one should not retaliate. If the ill comments continue the moderator will surley take care of the person in question.

If both sides retaliate back and forth then the moderators job becomes tough because many people tend to jump in.
