and Hell would be a perpetual state of hitting rock bottom ... the point in one's life where the veil of self-deceit is forcefuly lifted, allowing one to finaly see and comprehend all the destruction and pain inflicted on himself and others in his/her wreckless wake, and one can no longer fool oneself into thinking "everything is alright and I've got everything under control"...

Heaven or Hell is slowly brought on to oneself gradualy and eventualy through a series of decisions and actions. This is what I gather from Proverbs.

Plus Jesus preaches that the relationships from this life will spill over into the next. This is not directly stated in the gospels, but I personaly think it is implied.
