the warp bubble doesn't experince any acceleration at all [if it did the astronauts would be pulverized by g forces]. It is an inertial frame which can be at rest wrt to the Earth. Subsequently the ships clock and Earth clock would remain sychronized. So you are right. The real issue would be to work out the practical problems related to such an endeavour. |
