Prove me wrong. Or, if you can't, give me a theological/philisophical reason it can't be true.

The current concept of the devil is a flawed one (that's me thinking that). It came about during the dark ages (that's not my thinking, that's fact) at a time when God was (supposedly) off the Earth. The whole horns and fire thing is mythology.

Again, what's actually wrong with the theology I've presented? Ultimately, you cannot "prove" theology; not with science, not with logic. How can I prove what I've said is truth? How can you prove it isn't? A more widly held concept does not make it a correct one (i.e. slavery).
