I guess all I wanted to say was that he may be insightful, but the way he expresses it leaves him exposed to ridicule. His ideas are cool; his means of conveyence are somewhat silly. He doesn't have to listen to me anymore than if someone told him to take off his rainbow hat with a propeller on top (no I'm not saying he has one).

So I suggested that perhaps he express his out-of-the-box ideas in a more concise manner. It was just a suggestion; I encourage him as a free thinker, but offered an alternative means of communicating his ideas.

Politics may have been a dumb word to use on my behalf. I was trying to say that there is a way to be heard and to get your ideas across, and that perhaps he was going about it the wrong way.
