Textbooks are horrible to read, they are meant for study more than reading. They lack analogies, personal experiences and encounters, etc. In any case, I'm referring to philosophical and scientific subjects. If we are talking lit, then of course I enjoy reading authors like Emerson as much as the next guy. Although, I'm generally not a lit guy.

"Those who are not literature people, capture the true meaning of literature". What do you think of that proverb, Aurino?
