"Faith As A Grain Of Mustard Seed"

1) A mustard seed has no doubt and so its ratio of faith to doubt is quote a powerful, irrational fraction.
2) A mustard seed can become a mustard plant which can produce many mustard seeds. It is a fast proliferating plant in some regions.
As a metaphor, it is possible that sheer numbers OR being completely confident was the intent of the lesson.
As Mark Twain wrote: "Ignorance and confidence...then success is assured."
There are many persons here who are more ignorant than you, Alan, but they seem to lack confidence in themselves, so they become nasty.
I agree with you about how honesty can raise IQ
(and some other things you say).
