The only spacetime that GR can't theoretically investigate is the singularity. Nobody expects GR to be able to do this because its domain of applicability doesn't include the quantum realm. Outside of the the singularity GR's domain of applicability [theoretically] includes inside the event horizon of any type black hole. Because there exists an event horizon the predictions GR makes for inside the event horizon can't be experimentally verified. If you study GR you will see what I just said is correct. I can write a metric which is good for both outside and inside the Schwarzschild black hole. Its a proper frame metric.
