I don't know why it's necessary to bring up other personal issues with regard to this program, but I agree that they were very, very insensitive to the hominids. For example, one of the hominid's steal's Lucy's baby and runs with the baby by the leg. I thought that was going too far, but, probably realistic. I think the producers wanted to show the reality of our ancestors daily lives and not sugar coat it. I guess that's what makes the show hard to digest and yet somehow wonderful to watch.
