Not just your post but everyone taking the
general view of Glenn's post and dismissing it
was committing the error of failing to use
specifics to address specifics. From general
principles indeed come rules and laws, but
we must distinguish between the rules inherent
in the universe and those which may be established
(and changed) by human beings.
Whether we call it God or by another name,
anyone may make either a good logical statement or fail in doing so. General statements which are exception-free are more difficult to make successfully and you guys were debunking what seemed to me to be soft, sentimental longing for goodness rather than a hard disproof of Deity.
