Macula -- Thanks For Clarifying My Misinterpretation

Apparently my misinterpretation was necessary,
for any construct based on metaphors is bound
to require clarification.
If you will permit me to rant ;)
it is important to me that biology is as
different from engineering
as an intelligent multi-planetary civilization is different from fossil radiolarian.
There are finite principles discoverable in
engineering, though certainly Earth's human beings are primitive in their engineering.
Biology is a self-perpetuating, super-complex
flow of assemblage activities whose activities
on a microscopic scale are orders of magnitude
ahead of engineering in complexity.
If you can pose an engineer to credit for biology, then we can compare the two, but the processes are still so different that I am sure
this analogy should never appear on a competence test put out by the Educational Testing Service.
You have been patient to read this far. Thank you.
Mike
