The issue of pencil A remaining pencil A and pencil B remaining pencil B is addressed in a very logical manner which, to date, no one has found fault. If you can not find the publications which address this problem, let me know and I will do my best to explain the logic to you."

it has been found (through spectral analysis) that electrons in a small region of space can not have the same identical quantum numbers. thus when comparing electrons they will be in a different quantum state from one another. ie they will each have a separate identity.
same with pencils.
