It is also emotional and addicting and therefore requires rules to preventing it from reducing a free willed being to the state of complete selfishness.

Selfishness is the state of mind which determines that it will fulfil cravings without regard to who may be hurt by it.

For this reason God has only condoned sex inside a marriage relationship which requires unselfishness, self control and commitment.
