God has given humans the unique ability to decide what we will be by controlling what we eat mentally. God will honor any attempt to be “good” by finishing the job for us if He determines we are a willing patient. It doesn’t matter what you have done, but only what you are doing. No one has a greater desire for the good of your sister then God does. Sometimes it takes the ramifications of a bent toward rejecting all the rules he has given to cause a realization of the wisdom of His rules. Sexual addiction is no different then any other addiction in that the addict denies the sickness and or any fault. The most important thing is to be available when the process runs its course and help will be accepted. Then give help. You will make everyone happy including God.

God gave rules to keep us from hurting ourselves and others. It would have been cruel of Him to restrain from giving them. Unfortunately the granting of a free will comes with responsibilities. However with the responsibilities He gave a way to avoid the penalty. I think He has been very gracious. I also think that if a person is alive that indicates God has not given up on them.
We shouldn’t either.
