In my work in a lab, I do DNA sequencing from time to time, and it never ceases to amaze me. I have to agree with Bzrd that the information could be used for malevolent purposes but if used for good purposes, the human species stands to benefit greatly. I think there needs to be some international policing to prevent the abuse of this newly acquired understanding of human genes. |
