HGP is a two-edged sword, Tenacious; there is without a doubt, some benefit to be derived, yet history tells us that we [we rhetorically] will find a way to make it an instrument of evil. What will the next Hitler do with this technology, produce a master race? As an aside, the author made note of the "myraid of illnesses" that have a genetic component [virtually all non-comunicable diseases]. This seems to be consistent with the postulate that informational entropy is creeping into the human genome; of course this would be in direct contradiction to Darwinain evolution. By what means does one dismiss this as evidence of de-evolution? |
