i didn't know that.
anyway i guess the way i look at time and my own experience, it's kind of like a roller coaster ride (less the g's :)
by analogy like a surfer riding the crest of a wave.
the coaster rider (us) experiences the present and by analogy the track behind and what we experienced is the past, the future is what ever happens on the track ahead (assumming more track exists :).

i guess in this analogy the present would be relative to the observer.
