It is absolutely true, that in order to study something (really, anything), and in order to give a fully meaningful opinion, of what is studied, a 100% un-biased approach has to be taken. Because if it is not, then the report is tainted. And therefore no good. In an Ideal world...

In a fortunate way (to some degree), we do not live in an Ideal world. So, can we 'give credence' to a political essay that is unbalanced? Well, in our world of biased behaviors, we have come to accomplish, forming an opinion based off of biased presentations. Is it right? No. Is it exact? Of course it isn't. Is it perfect? Absolutely the opposite of. But bias is what we have to work with. So we take it from there.
