Does ICR Presume God Employs Them To Explain Morality To Me

Dear John,
Thank you for praising anonymous Harv.

Your affinity for Creation Science
and creationism generally is a real
interesting vote of confidence.

It is one thing to embrace intelligent design,
which is self-evident if you define your terms
conventionally, but ICR has sometimes tended
to bend science in a manner which reminded me
of Soviet science under Stalin -- the science
must conform to your pre-conceived religious notions,
and the idea which best conceals the
flaws of the pre-conceived theology
while sounding scientifically plausible
is the one that is trumpeted during its
heyday. They don't usually last because
any mix of theology and science almost always
sheds the theology like chaff, only to give
rise to a new generation of chaff.
Maybe it IS an organic process. Yes, most
of the modern scientific era was founded by
devoutly religious persons -- persons of
great personal integrity -- but it was when they
did not mix their science with theology that
they did their true science.

Rgrds,Mk
