Many greater minds than this one have concluded that the order in the universe [in the the form of natural law] was evidence of intelligent design.

I don't think it is fair to rule out intelligent design based on the fact that sub atomic particles appear to behave randomly, since this presupposes that the "designer" would not or could not use, some degree of apparent randomness, that would coincide with the more orderly natural laws.
