Bush Isn't Like Locke

Although the drafters saw the beauty of Locke's social contract, I don't think our commander in chief is like them (or George the III). I would have to say more like Thomas Hobbes, who also supported the social contract theory, but because he was deathly afraid of life without it. Our natural state, according to Hobbes, is like that of the animals and savages and we must foreit some of our freedoms to the government to be protected by them. Bush, like most of us, is also afraid.
