von Neumann was #93 according to Time.
But this could be the wrong source and
my book is not conveniently shelved
near me so I can check it.
I realize that would be a fairly slim reference source for a science forum, but whose standards are high here anyway.
My source that Cyril Kornbluth knew Johnny von Neumann was my reading, probably in 1971, in a
science fiction magazine. Kornbluth said
his friend Johnny would frequently sleep 'til noon and stay up as long as he wanted, working on
his interests. He said Johnny's family had quite a bit of money so Johnny did not have a desperate need for permanent fulltime employment.
