OK people, this is getting rediculous. This silliness of renaming food items. What have we reduced ourselves to? So now, even McDonalds has changed the menu to say freedom fries. I can understand protest marches and Michael Moore blurbing out his opinion at the awards. But renaming food items, well, is this not going a bit too far?

First of all, none of the items that prepend the word French are of French linneage. We are not following suit and renaming Russian or German foods/items are we? Nor should we in my opinion, but we have singled out the French name for silly reasons.

Hey, we are a country that is built on agreeing and disagreeing. Can we just leave it at that?

You have your opinion, and I have mine. Can I state mine, and can you state yours? Be done with it after that...
