In the Sri Bagavatum of Hindiism, Vishu is chracterized as sitting on a coiled snake and emitting universes from his nostrils. That seems quite the same as Smolin's claim that universes may emanate from black holes.

Here is another. The cosmology of genesis, which is recognized by Islam as well as Chrisianity and Judaism, presents a development of life on earth that is quite close to evolution.

Then another is the Rig Veda which says that the fundamental atom cannot be detected. But that they can couple to form dyades, which still cannot be detected. And that three of them, either the dyades or the atoms, not sure which, can combine to form matter that can be detected. I think this is saying that quarks cannot be detected but that three quarks can combine to form protons and neutrons, which can be detected.
