Murat, some of what you say is pretty accurate as far as I know.

There are many sources of energy and many ways to manage the oil resource. It is fair to say the enemies of America may be trying to hasten the day when oil runs out, in order to maximize their short-term profits. Or it may be some other scenario. Certainly our options can be played differently, and the possibilities are as endless as our ability to model and execute those options.
I had the privilege of playing with some energy modelling software where you can toy with the percent of our energy provided by each source.

( This was given to me by the former Congressman who, being an accomplished scientist and experienced writer of bills, supposedly wrote all the energy legislation passed in the U.S. Congress during the Ford and Carter administrations, after Earth Day awareness had begun.)

But the future oil shortage has been anticipated at least since I first became a voter in 1974.
I didn't read Yaniru's post, so I don't know what you're saying yep to.
