I didn't catch any connection between God and the site well because I didn't. I do understand the thoery would make a huge difference that I can assure you off. Make take on the question was existance of God and that threw me off. Sorry about that.

As to water healing people, well I wouldn't be surprised. Consider an ancient earth that is more "misty" humid or basically alot more water around in the atmosphere than there is now. Also add into the equation a doubling of oxygen levels in the atmosphere and a doubling of air preassure and you would have an enviroment that it would be really hard to stay hurt for a long time.
