Hi Forum Astronomy Pals...
Best wishes to You
Here are two juxtaposed thoughts
1)
LXXXVIII
"Oh, Thou, who Man of baser Earth didst make,
And ev'n with Paradise devise the Snake:
For all the Sin the Face of wretched Man
Is black with -- Man's Forgiveness give -- and take !" - "Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam"

2) From Science Teacher Magazine, April 1987

Unsuccessful problem solvers:
* Attempt one-step solutions...
* try to recall memorized information...
* make fwew assumptions and approximations...
* do not categorize problems...
* consider the effects of one variable at a time...
*do not check whether results match problem requirements
Successful problem solvers:
* Break the problems in parts and use knowledge acquired from solving each part to solve the whole...
* Seek to analyze and reason
* frequently check their answers
* often make proper assumptions and approximations
* Group problems by broad concepts
* consider the effects of variables upon each other and upon the whole
* check whether the solutions match problem requirements

Cheer for You
