Isn't that "someone else" ultimately God? Being script-bound to a religious centerpiece like the bible wouldn't necassarily be a bad thing. You would be living your life the way God would have it.

Yet there are many reasons not to become script-bound to the bible due to all of its inaccuracies(the whole age of the universe debate is a prime example).
