Dear World,
Humans are not the center of the universe
or the solar system. Humans are local
hosts of consciousness as we know
To say the universe known to us has its "
"center" in us is reasonable...but not to say the same of the entire universe including known and unknown.
Humans have the cerebral cortex which helps
contemplation gain the upper hand over
impulsiveness (that's a guess). Let's not impulsively assume man is the measure of all
the universe.

"I think what you are missing here is that humans are the 'center of the universe' when it comes to understanding the world around us. Everything about the world must be interpreted by us in order for us to survive and thrive in the world. If the Copernican principle aids in that regard, then I'm all for it as long as we don't have to give up more meaning than that principle is worth in that endeavor."
