Ack, Not Electrical!

I had an electrical engineering prof for a frosh course in computers (it was mandatory), and he wanted me to defect. I said no way. I'm sticking with civil. I hated E-Systems and that is just the beginning. Hope you're liking that stuff more than I did.

Give me a force diagram, and I'll do diagrams to find shear, moment, angular displacement, and deflection. I can find the stress in a single beam out of an entire building in less than 20 minutes. But for the sake of me, I couldn't even figure out what an inducer did. :^P

And what was worse was the imaginary numbers. I didn't have a problem dealing with the math, its just that we were taught in school that the only reason we learn imaginary numbers is for electronics. But in the math class imaginary numbers are noted with the letter i. I'll be darned when I learned in E-Systems, they used the letter j!!! :^O
