I`m Sorry You`ve Chosen To Take It As An Attack

As a former christian and present atheist i completely understand how difficult it is not to take your deepest beliefs personally. True i am an atheist, but it`s merely a classification. I don`t believe in the traditional concept of God ie. all powerful, all good, all compassionate... but i do have faith in the human spirit. This however, does not immediately mean i`m entirely closed to ideas of a "higher power". I`ve wondered what if there is some higher force out there in the vast emptiness that isn`t involved in human affairs, or even a conscious being... just a force. Lets say it created the universe and took off for example (i don`t actually believe this, just making a point), some might consider this God. I think this definition is so far off from the traditional view of God, we might as well call it something entirely different (If it lacks consciousness?). Atheism is quite a broad definition... P.S. Oh sorry if it came across as an attack, i`ve been really stressed out lately, it`s midterm time again. What the hell am i doing here? gotta go.
